Pet Vet 3D Animal Hospital is a simulator that allows you to be in charge of your own pet hospital, complete with a clinic to diagnose and treat the animals. Given the fact that you play the role of the doctor and the owner of the said clinic, it is your responsibility to help every patient that comes to you. In order to do so, a lot of training and experience is required.

To begin with, the game allows you to choose between playing specific scenarios, or just fooling around with no other goal than to keep the hospital running at all times. In fact, the sandbox mode is basically endless, in the sense that you can keep playing for as long as you want. Obviously, things might start to get repetitive after a while, but there is enough variety to satisfy your needs in the beginning.

Since the hospital doubles as your house as well, you are free to roam around its rooms and the yard, where the animals are kept while you treat them. Speaking of which, each pet needs to be examined and diagnosed before you can start treating it, otherwise you won’t know what’s wrong with it. After the disease is identified, you just need to keep it under observation and provide it with medication every now and again.

Given the sandbox nature of the game, it is only natural that you have full control over the character, thanks to the top-down perspective. It is also possible to rotate and pan the camera around, as well as zoom in when you need to have a better look at something. The graphics engine is not amazing, but it is flashy enough to keep a young mind occupied for a long time.

In the end, Pet Vet 3D Animal Hospital is a decent game, especially for young gamers that need something light and colorful to have fun with. However, the gameplay gets repetitive after a while, especially after you’ve seen everything the game has to offer, which doesn’t take very long.
