PegIt is a unique and challenging level-based logic puzzle game. Originally inspired by the classic board game 'Peg Solitaire'. The object of the Peg Solitaire game is to remove all the Pegs by jumping one peg over another. In this game, the Pegs are replaced with little yellow-haired people known as 'PegIts'.
The PegIts can leapfrog over each other, bounce on Trampolines, catapult each other with Springboards, use Teleports, fall down Holes and make use all manner of crazy objects to remove each other from the game. The game boasts over 150 levels ranging from easy to very hard.
Some levels focus on a complicated mixture of contraptions that must be used to complete a level while others follow the more traditional 'Pegs only' style. This genre defying game has more in common with Lemmings and Dweep than the usual crop of action puzzle games you'll find today. With new level packs released as free updates, this game will take a long time to complete.
The Blocker: A PegIt can not usually jump over or land on a Blocker. Try to look at the free blocker for certain exeptions..
Trampoline: If you jump on a Trampoline the PegIt will make a second jump allowing you to potentially jump over two PegIts at a time. It's also possible to bounce onto a second Trampoline and so on.
Direction: The Directions are very similar to the Trampolines except they propel the PegIt in a fixed direction based on the chevron symbol.
See-Saw: A See-Saw can be used to propel other PegIts! Just try it out!
The Hole: A PegIt will fall down a hole and is removed from the game. This is a good thing!
Teleport: Teleports always come in pairs of a matching color (for example, two pink Teleports.) If a PegIt lands on a teleport it gets transported to another Teleport of the same colour.
The Box: A Box can be used to jump over a Blocker! The rule to understand with the Box is it raises a PegIt up to a higher level. This is how it can jump over a Blocker. However, other PegIts (standing on the floor) are unable to jump over a PegIt that is standing on a Box. This can be a little confusing but you will understand with practice.
Shifter: If a PegIt lands on a Shifter it gets shifted one place to the left!
Bomb + Button: Position PegIts on top of the Bombs. Then Navigate another PegIt to jump onto a Button and watch the PegIts explode! (Don't worry! It's just a harmless special effect!) Bombs are a sneaky way to remove more PegIts!
Light Bulbs: PegIts can jump over the Bulbs but can not stand on them!
Timeslip: The Timeslip is like a cross between the Teleport and the Trampoline. If a PegIt jumps into the Timeslip, it will get transported to another Timeslip and jump back out! Like Teleports, Timeslips come in pairs of a particular color. Try it out for yourself!
