Paws and Claws Pet Vet is a nice little casual game in which you play the role of a veterinarian who has a little clinic outside the city and is dedicated to helping sick animals. The game offers a freely explorable world in which your character can do his or her job, interact with animals and more.

Paws and Claws Pet Vet is to some extent a veterinarian simulator but it won’t require tons of animal care knowledge before you can play it. In the game you will deal with the most common problems that pets might face.

Some little guy might have fleas, some can come in with a rash and in a lot of cases you just need to immunize the pet. In Paws and Claws Pet Vet you will be treating dogs, rabbits, cats, Guinea pigs, horses and budgerigars and for each one, after examination, you will have a little chart of what the problem might be and how to treat it.

After that, it’s up to you to apply the right medicine and send the pets back home with their loving masters.

Apart from examining and treating the animals, you will also have to make sure you have all the medicine you need. You can’t treat a sick pet without having the right stuff in the clinic and that will result in an unhappy customer. The same happens when you give them the wrong treatment.

Paws and Claws Pet Vet also enables the player to expand the business by purchasing new buildings that offer additional services to customers. This adds more depth to the game but also increases the difficulty level because you will have more stuff to look after.

On a closing note, Paws and Claws Pet Vet is a nice game and just that. It runs well and gameplay is relaxing but the graphics are outdated and not so appealing. Since it came out, newer and better versions have appeared.
