Neopets: Codestone Quest propels you into the classic crusade of good versus evil in the fantasy world of Neopia. On an assignment for Oswoc, the Alchemist, you find yourself caught up in a battle between Balthazar and the Faeries. In order to complete the mission and posses the Codestones, you must first thwart the evil Balthazar's plan of kidnapping all the Faeries.

Use your Faerie launcher and strategically choose what color Faerie to thrust towards the chain of moving jars. Match three colors and free them from imprisonment before Balthazar succeeds in pushing them in a barrel. Match more than three and receive bonus points.

Gain knowledge from the Battle Faerie on special color match combinations and receive powerful Faerie Magic such as a Targeting Beams, Lightning Bolts and Color Blasts to help you blow apart the jars. Call on Petpets such as Snowickle, Blurtle, Turmac and Baby Fireball who each assist you in their own special way. As your quest continues, catch Dubloons as they fall from the air and use them to purchase Petpets as well as extra lives in the shop.
