Haunted Hotel: Ancient Bane is a hidden object puzzle adventure game where you will have to travel to a remote hotel that's said to be haunted and learn more about a mysterious disappearance.

Take on the role of an assistant detective who receives a telegram from his detective friend James. You're asked to join him in his most recent investigation: a disappearance case.

The place where the strange disappearance took place is a remote hotel that several years back was the talk of the newspapers. Abraham Shadowy, a well-known and respected engineer, bought and old hotel and restored it to its former beauty. The building's main attraction will be the ghosts, that will roam the rooms and the halls, Abraham promised.

When several people began to disappear from the hotel, Abraham turned to his old friend James to conduct a discreet and quiet investigation.

Upon reaching the hotel, James seems surprised that Abraham didn't greet him. Help him find a way inside the main building and meet up with the owner. All goes well until Abraham mysteriously vanishes after talking with a strange voice.

Searching through the hotel you begin to find clues that supernatural events are really taking place, even more, there is an evil force that turned the humans into slaves. In order to defeat this evil entity, you will have to repair an ancient amulet.

The hotel is really creepy and the ghostly apparitions increase the eerie feeling. Hidden object scenes are beautifully drawn and the animated scenes blend perfectly with the setting. Lots of puzzles will require your attention in order to advance further.

With three different difficulty levels where you can set the loading time of the hint and skip buttons, the game can be accessed by HOG enthusiasts of all ages. Explore the hotel, save the trapped guests and defeat the evil entity.
