Freddi Fish 2 - The Case of the Haunted Schoolhouse Demo
Although video games may be pretty violent nowadays, there are still plenty of innocent ones you can try, most of which have nothing to do with stealing cars or eviscerating demons. Hence, you can easily find a fun little game for your children, especially if you are looking for the right thing. Cartoons are a great choice as well, which is why a combination of the two sounds perfect.
Help Freddi and Luther get rid of a ghost
Freddi Fish 2 - The Case of the Haunted Schoolhouse is a simple adventure game with point-and-click mechanics, in which your role is to solve a mystery and meet a variety of interesting characters along the way. Not only that, but it is also possible to be a part of the story and engage in songs, mini-games, and a variety of other such pleasant activities in the meantime.
The story talks about two friends, Freddi and Luther, who are on their way to school one morning. They are fish, however, so their school is underwater, as it is normal. Unfortunately, a ghost appears as they enter the classroom and steals every toy, leaving the kids unable to enjoy their day. Hence, your goal is to catch the ghost and bring back the toys it has taken from the other children.
Explore the environment and have fun with the characters
Unlike in most modern video games, the environments in this game are particularly interactive. Hence, almost anywhere on the screen you might happen to click, a funny cutscene is triggered, such as a fish making a run for it from behind a bush. Many other such interesting events are included, which extend the experience by a lot and it makes every room in the game a pleasure to explore and interact with.
Visually, the game is almost entirely hand-drawn, which means that it looks exactly like a cartoon in most circumstances. The environments are not entirely static either, even if this is merely a point-and-click title after all. Furthermore, the voice acting is superb, and you can really imagine yourself in Freddi’s world when he and the other characters are talking or singing.
A fun adventure for children and not only
While Freddi Fish 2 - The Case of the Haunted Schoolhouse may not hold too much interest for adults, it’s certainly a game little children shouldn’t miss. The interactive environments and simple gameplay mechanics make it a very entertaining game, with the added benefit of being completely violence-free.
