In fact, the entire game is just a small window full of colorful bubbles that need to be popped in exchange for points, and you can achieve that by simply clicking on the ones that can be eliminated from the stack.

There are no multiple levels and nothing changes along the way, so you may not find the game intriguing over long periods of time. On the other hand, each successful match rewards you with points, which are then counted and added together when the round finishes. In order to finish, all you need to do is exhaust all the valid moves on the board, which is not as simple as you might think.

The amount of points you receive depends on the number of bubbles you manage to pop at once, which means that the score grows exponentially. However, you might sometimes have to think ahead and plan these combos, by popping others first and obtaining the desired pattern. It may take a while to get used to the idea, but it’s definitely fun once you manage to pull it off.

On the other hand, the game ends whenever there are no more valid moves, which is also about luck sometimes. Hence, you might feel like you do not have too much control over the course of the game. Even so, you shouldn’t take it very seriously anyway, because the game’s purpose is to help you relax and have a bit of fun.

Bubblets has what it takes to make you lose a few hours, although it’s difficult to keep playing for too long at once. Its simplicity is its strength as well, because you don’t need to learn anything and just start playing.
