Nothing makes a green pig flee in terror like an angry bird and Rovio's puzzle game stands tall to that affirmation, but let's see what really makes Angry Birds tick and why is it so popular among billions of players.
A bunch of very angry birds are up for revengeThe plot behind Angry birds is quite simple: a bunch of green pigs have stolen the precious eggs of a few funny looking wingless birds and plan to eat them unless someone manages to do something about this. Now, it's up to you to use the unique powers of each angry bird and eliminate the pig threat before it's too late.
The game will take you on a journey through 5 different scenarios in your constant quest to recover your eggs and defeat the pigs once and for all.
A hilarious cast of colorful birdsAs you start exploring this colorful world, you will have to use your bird's powers to destroy the pig strongholds and banish those evil green rascals to recover your precious eggs.
The game mechanics are pretty simple. All you need to do is to load up your slingshot, set the angle of your shot and fire away to unleash hell upon those unsuspecting pigs.
For starters, you will have control only over Red (the red bird), but as you advance through the levels, you will unlock new birds, each with their own unique powers. For example, The Blues brothers will allow you to split the group mid-air and target three areas of the stronghold at the same time.
Other birds will be able to bash through obstacles at high speeds, inflate, drop eggs, or even act like a bomb and blow up everything near it.
Simple yet very addictiveThanks to its extremely fun physics, hilarious moments, and easy to learn mechanics, Angry Birds is one of the best casual puzzle games ever created and with new content being added on a regular basis, you'll never manage to get enough of it. Yes, it may require some luck to achieve the maximum score in each level, but nailing those perfect shots is incredibly rewarding.
