With a brand new engine build from the ground up, Serious Sam 2 will be a shot of adrenaline to the hearts of first-person shooter fans across the world. This is serious!

Here are some key features of "Serious Sam II":

· Runs on the newly designed Serious 2 engine with graphics, environments and physics that are 100 times more complex than previous Serious Sam games.
· Maintains the same level of extreme action that Serious Sam is known for. Despite its jaw-dropping visuals, Serious Sam 2 will surpass the onscreen enemy benchmark that the original Serious Sam games set.
· Over 40 beautiful, expansive levels spread out over 7 unique environments. Sam will travel through thick jungles, murky swamps, frozen tundra, futuristic cities, volcanic planets, and more. Each level is seriously enormous!
· 45 newly designed enemy types for Sam to face. The Serious Sam series is known for its outrageous enemy personalities, and Serious Sam 2 will give players a lot more to laugh about.
· New vehicular and animal-back combat! Engage in heart-thumping action atop wild, mountable animals and intense, death-dealing vehicles.


What's New in This Release:

· Implemented Deathmatch game mode
· It is now possible to execute a script file from the console (exec script.cfg)
· Added samListPlayers() console command - displays the list of all players in the 'playerindex playername' format.
· Implemented banning of players by IP address (permanent or temporary).
· Implemented map list and map rotation - map list can be specified either in a cvar or through a file.
· Added falling damage.
· Added damage impact - knockback from explosions.
· Increased player speed for deathmatch games (12.5 m/s).
· In DM, player runs faster when using the chainsaw.
· Players dop the current weapon when killed (DM only).
· It is now posible to disable items, weapons and powerups.
· Player can be gibbed (DM only).
· Implemented the in-game voting system (votes for next map, map restart, kicking players, temporary player ban).
· Added the 'only if stronger' option to auto weapon change setting.
· Chat message sound is much louder now.
· Added support for multi-core in physics solver (disabled by default).
