Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II is a real-time strategy game that is inspired from the famous books and movies.

In this game you will be able to control and shape the outcome of the great battles. As with most RTS games, you have to gather resources, build and army and with it, defeat your opponents.

Units are grouped into categories such as infantry, ranged, pikemen, cavalry and siege and you can also recruit some of the main characters in the books to fight alongside your armies. Unlike in the first game, in this release the player is able to construct buildings anywhere to increase production and improve defense capabilities.

By downloading and installing this patch over the original game, you will be able to address and apply fixes to a number of bugs, as well as improve game stability. The package also comes with a series of performance enhancements and also takes care of the de-sync issue.
