Darkest Hour is a grand strategy game that puts you in command of a nation between the years of 1914 and 1964.

In the game you can choose any country that existed in that historical period and manage all of its diplomatic, political, economic, military and technological aspects. You get to build land, sea and air military units and control individual government officials and army commanders.

As the leader of a country, you can declare war to another nation, annex territories, change economical states and manage economy. The game can be paused anytime you wish to in order to run a few strategies through your mind before you make any in-game modifications.
