Condor: The Competition Soaring Simulator is designed to recreate the ultimate experience of competition soaring on your PC.

A lot of attention was put in to create an environment which would create an immersion of real competition flying. This means that the aerodynamics and weather physics were in focus of the development. The result is amazingly real feel of flight in all flight regimes and weather conditions which challenges a real soaring pilot on a competition day and a happy landing.

· Amazing feel of flight due to the advanced flight dynamics model
· Advanced 6DOF flight model for complete freedom of flying.
· Accurate sailplane performance and handling – also at and beyond critical angles of attack.

· Force feedback until now was never really done with a realism in mind. Most simulators used it as a 'movie' effect. This however changes with Condor , as it was designed with force feedback joysticks in mind for the ultimate experience.
· Condor simulates forces on the stick directly from its advanced flight dynamic model and controlling trimmer actually moves your stick like in real life!


What's New in This Release:

· Added provisional support for Simkits (only active when simkits.ini is available).
· Added protection for flight tasks. Host has option to not allow user to save the task. If you want to load the flightplan from the flighttrack or IGC, user gets warning message that weather is randomized and not equal to the server task.
· Dedicated server now no longer needs a copy of everything, if DS is on other location than Condor installation and is on the same computer. So if user wants to have more DS on same computer in independent directories, he needs to have DS, *.ini and raceresults subdir.
· Server now sends landscape and its version to the servers list. For scenery creators, this means they need to have new .ini file: CondorInstallDir/Landscapes/LandscapeName/LandscapeName.ini. Check Slovenian scenery for example.
· If multiplayer client slot request timeouts (5s) or there is some other reason. The msg box with the cause is now displayed.
· Added new option to setup: "Vertical View center", which sets the default camera height of view direction.
· Added player status "GUI" which is used when user is not in the plane or did not receive his first PosMessage.
· Added error msg box if client does not have the same landscape as server.
· Tweaks to network code.
· Side view from cockpit is now a bit less restricted to downward.
· No longer possible to turn the TP if you are in tow or winch.
· Tweaked size and position of TP and its properties on PDA screen 1.
· Tweaked ASW22 & Nimbus4 roll rate.
· Number of thermals is now also depended on the avg probability of the whole thermal map. This creates much better results on the landscapes with a lot of water.
· Tweaked landing detection logic.
· Fixed flaps reset issue with restart.
· Fixed bug which caused too much damping of the M when damage was done to the plane. Plane is now much more 'live' after taking damage in the air.
· Fixed "RefreshGUIFromFlightPlan.ViewReset" bug.
· Sun path should be correct now on all geo positions.
· Fixed bug where thermal activity did not started if start-time was set too early.
· Fixed double msgs for admin.
· Fixed bug with negative Lat & Lon.
· Fixed synchronization bug in flight track analysis.
· Fixed scoring bug which could record totally fictional score.
· Fixed teamplay bug: "last teamplayer is written twice in the score".
· Teamplay score now takes the average of teammates which started the task and not of those who connected.
· Fixed bug with flaps in replay where they were stuck at pos 0 .
· Fixed bug of replay's "sun glare".
· Fixed bug where plane pointed in random direction if you rewinded replay.
· Fixed replay bug where control surfaces would not move and flaps sound was playing at 4x second.
· Fixed F1 camera jump in replay with 'replay camera OFF' option.
· When you crash, there is no longer possible to use controls.
· Added more informative error message when tow plane does not exist in replay as it should.
· Fixed bug when user received cloud penalty for observing other plane in cloud.
· Fixed flightplanner bug which caused "list index out of bounds" error if you right-clicked the TP and then move mouse cursor on other TP and select Remove/Insert/Properties.
· Fixed flightplanner bug which caused error if you ended the task and pressed Remove (startpoint) in the TP list window.
· Fixed bug which caused crash if you removed T/O TP from TP list window.
· Fixed bug which could cause VB overwrite in groundobjects.autoobjects.
· On the server restart, the SectorToRound and RaceStartTime are not properly reset.
· If there are no TP in flightplan (free flight), DS will now not restart/switch to next flightplan.
· ... and many other minor things.
