    All Aspect Warfare Patch description

This is the latest patch for the game All Aspect Warfare

A critical planetside tactical strike mission gone horribly wrong. Shot down. Stranded. Lost. Left for dead. The only way off this rock is through a very powerful enemy. What else could possibly go wrong?

…apart from that ticking thermo-nuclear planet killer our drop ship launched earlier.

The Terrans have been at war with the Gammulan race for years. In an attempt to change the tide of war and take the battle to the enemy, Galactic Command, the Terran military body, launched an all out attack on the Gammulan homeworlds.

Deployed in a distant hostile territory on the other side of the known galaxy, GALCOM forces were met with repeated defeat and unprecedented losses. GALCOM deployed another fleet along with a decoy, the GCV-Excalibur, carrying a devastating orbit to surface weapon. The R.A.N.D.O.M (Random Access Nuclear Destruction of Obsolete Matter) weapon, otherwise known as the “planet killer”. A weapon which had only been used once before.

After an intense battle, a badly damaged GCV-Excalibur managed to slip through the Gammulan defenses and attempted to land on the nearby Gammulan planet of LV-115. Engaged by undetected planet based Surface To Orbit weaponry, the all but destroyed craft crash landed on the hostile planet. But not before it deployed the devastating weapon.

Badly damaged, ninety percent crew loss and with the R.A.N.D.O.M weapon deployed and ticking, the intense planetside battles that ensue tell the story of a surviving group of four combat veterans stuck on a hostile planet, believed dead, hunted by the enemy and in a race against time to either locate and disarm the weapon or get off the planet before it detonates. Problem is, the only way off the planet is through an overwhelming enemy force.

    FEATURES:
    · Can go to space from LV-115 planet using any fighter or shuttle craft.
    · Contains the entire Gammula starsystem which contains five space regions. The full galaxy map
    · is available here: http://www.3000ad.com/fleets/img/galaxy_map_links.jpg
    · Contains three Gammulan (Hexar, Gammula, Sorius) starstations and one Terran (Parix)
    · starstation (captured from the Gammulans).
    · Can dock with friendly starstations to repair and arm your craft.
    · Multiplayer works in both space and on planets.

    TO GO TO SPACE:
    · Start a Story Mode campaign (without team members) with Steve. If you are using cheats, then
    · any career will work.
    · Enter any shuttle or fighter located at the base by walking up to it, point at the
    · front so that the pilot icon appears, then press E to enter it.
    · Take off and fly above 7500 ft.
    · When above that altitude, press SHIFT+9 and then Y when prompted. After the external
    · camera transition, you will be in space.

    TO DOCK WITH A STARSTATION:
    · Same as docking with starbases on planet. Press T cycle MFD1 modes to TRS radar.
    · Use period and comma to cycle targets until the station appears in MFD2.
    · Fly to within 5km (depends on station) and press E to dock.

TO JUMP TO ANOTHER SPACE REGION:
    · Press N to cycle MFD1 modes to NAV radar.
    · Use period and comma to cycle targets until a jump anomaly (jump gate, fluxfield, wormhole)
    · appears in MFD2.
    · Press SHIFT+9 to jump to the anomaly if you are far away.
    · When you emerge from hyperspace, increase thrust with W while flying straight into the jump
    · anomaly. When the jump is triggered, you will enter the new region.

    TO RETURN TO THE PLANET:
    · Press N to cycle MFD1 modes to NAV radar.
    · Use period and comma to cycle targets until the planet appears in MFD2.
    · To initiate the planetfall sequence, press SHIFT+9, then Y when prompted.

    KNOWN ISSUES:
    · Since space mode was NOT designed for this game, it has some problems, especially in terms
    · of culling, rendering, shaders etc. Below is a list of known issues; there may be others.
    · NPC escort collision avoidance & separation in space does not work
    · Frustrum culling in space has some problems
    · Skybox rendering has some problems
    · Hyperjumping to jump anomaly (e.g. jump gate) sometimes causing lockup
    · The jump gate model is not being rendered in the space view, only in MFD2
    · If you hyperjump to a planet, the message is played even if you said N
    · Planetfall FX rendering has some problems
    · Hyperjump FX rendering has some problems
    · Jump anomaly (jumpgate, fluxfield, wormhole, blackhole etc) special FX not working
    · Planetary rings (e.g. on Jupiter class planet) rendering does not work
    · Gaseous planet (e.g. Jupiter class planet) rendering does not work
