Battle Islands

Battle Islands is an online strategy game in which you'll have the chance to fight in the Pacific war theater during the World War II in the summer of 1942.

Upon conquering your first island, you'll have to set the bases for your army's base of operations. From here you'll be able to gather resources, train new units, construct defenses, and prepare your assault on other islands.

Before starting to build an army, you will have to setup your base to produce as many supplies as possible to support your military plans. If at first you can't produce enough supplies, you can always play the campaign missions and attack other islands to capture their resources.

Supplies are crucial to your base's development, as they are needed for raising buildings, buying upgrades, unit recruitment, and island expansion.

As you progress you will slowly unlock new structures that will give you the possibility to recruit new unit types which can be crucial in your attacks. From infantry and naval units to the versatility of the Air Force, this will give you lots of tactical possibilities during combat.

Another aspect that you should keep in mind is the constant need to upgrade your command bunker in order to unlock new buildings and thus increase your chances of repelling an incoming attack.

In addition to that, as you earn more supplies, you will also be able to expand your base of operations by adding new interconnected islands of various shapes and sizes.

Probably one of the best parts of the game is attacking human or AI players to gain supplies and increase your rank. While the campaign missions offer a fair amount of challenges, attacking other players is by far the best thing you could do in Battle Islands.

On the other hand, that's also a motive to actively consolidate your defenses and make sure you can withstand attacks from other players or risk to lose all your supplies.

Battle Islands is a fun and very addictive strategy game that packs just enough content to keep you pinned at your PC for hours. Building your base, recruiting soldiers and improving your defenses is a demanding task, but nothing comes close to the joy of resisting a friend's attack or conquering their base with just a few casualties.
