Deus Ex: Revision

Deus Ex: Revision is a mod developed by the community that aims to complete the experience of the original game and bring it to the 21st century at the same time. While it does come with high-resolution textures and a lot of new graphics, the soundtrack is new as well, although you also have the option to keep the old one, in case you are not that comfortable with change.

Many new objects have been added to the game, and their purpose is to diversify the environment and give you much more stuff to look at during the missions. Speaking of which, while the actual story and missions are the same, there are fixes and additions developed by the community, so you need to be prepared to deal with some differences.

Lastly, it is worth noting that you do not have to destroy your vanilla game installation with this mod, because it actually installs as a standalone entry in your Steam library. On the same note, this only works with the Steam version of the game, so any attempt to use it with a boxed version will end in disappointment.
