Upgrades
In the beginning you should research at least one attack, defense and hit points upgrade. Also upgrade your structures to at least Tier 2.
Anti Summoning Tactic
Acolytes are great to counter enemy's summon spam because their ability.
Box of Surprises
When map start and ships are spawned, you should send ships to take down at least one Box of Surprises at time, inside treasure boxes there is 1000 gold and items to get 2 for each hero stat.
Diamond of Summoning Item
Rush with hero middle of enemy base and use diamond of summoning to bring reinforcements. Focus then to take down at least one structure.
Race Massing
You should not turn all three starting Race Choosers to same race. Mix them effectively like Orcs + Night Elves + Humans.
Controlling Units
Don't just attack move all to time, control your units to focus single targets and use their abilities to maximize their potential usage.
Try Different Combinations
Try different race and hero combinations to find strategies what fit for your play style or are very effective in certain sitautions
