Portal is a new single player game from Valve. Set in the mysterious Aperture Science Laboratories, Portal has been called one of the most innovative new games on the horizon and will offer gamers hours of unique gameplay never seen before.

The game is designed to change the way players approach, manipulate, and surmise the possibilities in a given environment; similar to how Half-Life 2's Gravity Gun innovated new ways to leverage an object in any given situation.

Players must solve physical puzzles and challenges by opening portals to maneuvering objects, and themselves, through space.

To play these maps:

- Save each map to the c:steam[steamid]portalportalmaps folder
- Unzip any that are zipped
- Run portal
- Enable the developers console. You can do so through settings -> keyboard -> advanced -> enable dev console.
- Open the developers console by pressing ~ or ` (the key beside 1 and under escape)
- Finally type "map" (without quotes) then the name of the map, and press enter. E.g: map prl_map1

Note: This is a multi level room that requires you to gather one companion cube and place it on a button to open a door. Sounds easy right? ... Well be prepared to save often and remember patience is crucial.
