In essence, you get a fixed number of units at the beginning of each mission and you have to use them from start to finish as effectively as you can, although you do receive reinforcements once in a while, especially when things get tricky and you need additional fire support to break the enemy lines.

Regardless of whether you are a die-hard fan of the genre, or it is your first time playing a RTT game, you can be sure that the mechanics and the interface are easy-to-grasp and functional at the same time. Thus, it is very simple to pick-up and run with it, but it is certainly quite difficult to become a master and learn how to properly arrange, use and dispose of the units on the battlefield.

Moreover, a great deal of effort went into the graphics engine as well, since the scenery is beautiful and the landscapes are incredibly detailed, with plenty of vegetation and architecture spread around to make it look believable. Hence, the intricate mechanics can please even the most demanding of fans, while the intuitive interface is perfect to lure beginners in as well.
