Wizard of Legend Demo

Roguelike games with good-looking 2D graphics keep showing up more and more often and for a good reason, they’re quite addictive. Wizard of Legend is such a game and luckily for us, it’s one that has a lot of good things going on for it and potential for the near future.

Right off the bat expect some good combat out of Wizard of Legend. Gameplay is similar to that of other titles that belong to or gravitate around this genre and style but in this one, fighting is serious business.

Positioning, time of the attack, combos and evasive maneuvers all play a crucial role and you won’t have the luxury of picking and using just one combat strategy. Since each level is randomly generated and filled with content, you’ll have to make things up as you go. Of course, after a good deal of time with any given character, you will learn the ropes and things do get intuitive but difficulty goes down only slightly. Which is actually something that’s really appealing about this game.

Wizard of Legend throws into combat a fair number of characters. Each one is a wizard who possesses a unique set of skills that offer different combat potential on top of which you can build. As you slay enemies you are rewarded with gold coins and use them to purchase new skills that open up different combat paths.

At the moment Wizard of Legend is in early stages of development but variety is there, it actually offers a lot more than other similar completed games do. Moreover, the game is said to come with co-op gameplay and will even throw in a PvP feature, which are two very good ideas.

To wrap it up, Wizard of Legend is something you have to keep an eye on if you’re a fan of roguelikes with tons of combat and plenty of diversity.
