Witches' Legacy: The Dark Throne Collector's Edition is such a game that features a story about love, witchcraft and evil forces.

Witches' Legacy: The Dark Throne starts with a short cinematic in which Lynn, your witch wife is being taken away by a strange and dark force. Your job will be to pick up on the trail of clues and use them to solve the puzzles that keep from rescuing her.

As far as the story goes, it’s the hidden object kind of standard. It’s hard to tell how things end up but what can be seen from the demo, things might get very predictable after a point. An example of what’s a bit off is the fact that even though you have no particular set of skills, you manage to go to the Underworld and use a vine to trip over a fierce looking dark knight. As far as logic is concerned, there are concerns.

Two things keep the game afloat, the visuals and the puzzles. Although neither of them are exceptional in any way, for the casual gamer, they’ll do the trick. The world envisioned by the games creator or creators is a nice one, as far as the theme goes. There are plenty of interesting things to see.

When it comes to the puzzles, they also make a good challenge, and if you turn up the difficulty level of the game, the entire thing gets better.
