Whispered Secrets: Golden Silence Collector's Edition is a hidden object title that puts you in the role of a detective who is hired to track down and find a missing miner. His wife is troubled that something bad has happened to him, and she’s right, but it’s not what anyone expects.

The story begins with a group of miners digging into a mountainside when they uncover a cave that was full of riches. Inside it, there was also a strange chest, which they opened and let something loose. Now the miners are missing, something evil lurks around, and it’s up to you to get to the bottom of it all.

Accompanied by your faithful pet, you reach the mountain town only to find that people are not that willing to cooperate. They are hiding something from you.

In a lot of cases, hidden object games are almost identical in terms of gameplay mechanics. You have to click here and there to find clues; you need to solve puzzles and so on. However, apart from the visual uniqueness of each one, they sometimes have a new trick up their sleeve. So does Whispered Secrets: Golden Silence but we won’t ruin that for you.

Other than that, it’s all fairly standard and linear. Nonetheless, the story is intriguing, and it does capture your attention throughout the entire length of the game.
