By paying attention to political, economical and military matters, you must do your best in order to avoid rebellions, unwanted wars or bankruptcy, while also trying to expand and become a fearsome empire by the dawn of the 20th century.

In case you are not familiar with the said time frame, then you should know that it can be characterized as an era of colonization, absolute monarchies and industrialization. Not all of these characteristics were beneficial for humankind, but you must play your role and decide for yourself whether it's worth the trouble of colonizing other territories for profit. In the end, the happiness of your nation is all that matters, as well as the size of its treasury.

The game provides you with a truly massive amount of options when it comes to gameplay, which might overwhelm you in the beginning. However, the more you persevere and try to keep a cool head, the more you can learn about the how to play it and achieve positive results.
