Vehicle Stunt Simulator Demo

No action movie is complete without at least two or three totaled cars, and they preferably need to explode afterward as well. However, while some things featured in Hollywood movies are designed and simulated on the computer, most car stunts are not. Hence, there are actual stunt drivers hired to perform them, although they are obviously protected by all sorts of equipment.

Vehicle Stunt Simulator is a sandbox game that allows you to be a stunt driver and perform a variety of ludicrous stunts, albeit in a much more arcade environment. The physics engine and the graphics are not nearly as advanced as in various other similar games, but that doesn’t mean you cannot have fun with it. In fact, there are plenty of ways you can relax and have a good time.

To begin with, there are multiple vehicles to choose from, including a few muscle cars, a Humvee and a truck. All of them have different properties when it comes to speed and maneuverability, but you can certainly perform all sorts of stunts with each and every one. Granted, it may be more difficult to drift with a truck, but there are other things it can be just right for.

To help you have fun, the game comes with a map filled with all sorts of ramps, mini-games and traps, not to mention the A.I. players that just drive around looking for trouble. You can play bowling with your car, perform ridiculous jumps using huge ramps, as well as try to climb on top of various tricky platforms. In short, you should be able to keep yourself entertained for a while.

However, there are problems as well. The A.I. cars are pretty boring to watch and interact with, since they follow a precise path across the level and nothing can stop them from doing so. They are not even textured yet, but the game is still early in the development phase anyway. Speaking of which, the graphics are quite poor overall, but they are not horrible either.

Although Vehicle Stunt Simulator is not really there yet, it can become something a lot more entertaining in the future. As long as more vehicles, maps and possibilities are added, people are bound to give it a try and get hooked.
