Treasure Adventure World

Treasure Adventure World is a soon to be marvelous adventure game. Even this demo form that still needs polishing it looks and plays great. In it you take on the role of a little boy who embarks on the adventure of a lifetime along with a talking parrot.

The game has the Disney kind of start. It features a young boy who knows nothing about his past and is taken care of by two very nice old folks. One night, a parrot flies in through his window and wouldn't you know, he talks. Right after that, the adventure starts.

Treasure Adventure World features hand-drawn graphics that, combine with the great visual style, make for a very appealing game. It’s a treat to explore the islands and observe the attention to detail, character design, and every little thing that went into it.

In the game there are 12 treasures to collect and as you can imagine, there are at least 12 worlds to explore. There will be side quests to take on, interesting NPCs to meet and even hats to buy. Intended as an open-world platformer, Treasure Adventure World has an excellent start.

Your (initially) nameless protagonist fits the palette of adventurers who surprise and surpass expectations. If you haven’t noticed from the screenshots, the little guy doesn’t a left hand but instead wields a pirate hook with great confidence. Since we’re talking about a game in which the action takes place on the seas and islands, maybe that’s a hint of things to come. Yes we mean look out for pirates.

There is a lot of room in Treasure Adventure World to experiment with plot twists, secrets, gameplay mechanics and so on, something we’re sure the developers are more than aware of. Be sure to expect some pleasant surprises.

Treasure Adventure World is still in the works so what you see in this demo is not entirely representative of the final game. However, it’s way above other titles that have seen the light in similar circumstances.
