Tormentum - Dark Sorrow

Tormentum - Dark Sorrow is a point and click adventure game with surreal graphics where you will have to explore a scary world while trying to find out more about your character's past.

There are some story elements at the beginning of the game, but they're quite scarce. Players will meet the main protagonist, a hooded man who's faced is concealed. He wakes up inside a cage with no memory of who he is or how he got there.

Upon arriving at a castle/dungeon that looks like it's been recreated after a terrible nightmare, our hero has to escape and to travel across various lands while learning more and more about himself.

Tormentum is a classic adventure game meaning control is achieved via mouse. You won't be able to control your character's movements, yet in order to move from one point to the other you can click on objects and interact with them. The screen can be scrolled so keep in mind to search every corner of the room you're currently in. To advance to the next screen just click on the arrows located on the top.

The puzzles are not quite complicated and solving them is just a matter of trial and error, even if you don't follow the hints given inside the game. Graphics are nicely done and the horror feel created really complements the story.

The game is a lot more complex than it looks and even if it only features around 4-6 hours of gameplay, it can deliver a lot of intense gameplay due to the fact you'll have some interesting moral choices to make. Bottom line is that adventure fans will really enjoy Tormentum.
