As per usual, your most important task is to pay attention to every scene and search for useful items, which is achieved by clicking on them. The lower difficulty levels provide you with lots of hints in this regard, so you do not have to worry about this if you are new to the genre. The puzzles are not overly complex either, but they do provide you with a bit of a challenge every now and again.

It’s worth mentioning that a lot of work went into the visual presentation too, because every scene is incredibly detailed and nicely animated. There are no 3D environments to explore at will, but the moving vegetation and interesting backgrounds help a lot with the atmosphere. The cutscenes are great as well, and so is the voice acting most of the time.

Tiny Tales: Heart of the Forest really comes through on all fronts, in spite of the fact that it may not feature too many original ideas in the gameplay department. However, it’s certainly engaging enough to keep you busy for a long time.
