Subliminal Realms: The Masterpiece Collector's Edition is a hidden object game that stands out due to one thing alone: it’s setting. In the game, your character is a painter and one of his latest creations comes to life, leading to a series of unfortunate events (there’s no tie to Lemony Snicket).

The painting that stands in the center of the plot was created from the visions the painter had during a nightmare, which is enough to figure out why things went bad. Shortly after you unveil it to your wife and daughter, a strange woman appears, and shortly after, two beings grab your family and drag them into the painting.

Now, using your wits, sense of observation and puzzle solving skills, you have to save them. However, don’t expect for this to be a normal journey, even if it is a dangerous one. Throughout the game, you’ll learn that you can patch up the painting while inside it and bring to life creatures that have the power to help you.

Subliminal Realms: The Masterpiece sets itself apart from most hidden object games thanks to the way everything looks. It’s vivid, colorful, beautiful at times. It does feel different.

Its looks make it different, other than that, Subliminal Realms: The Masterpiece is as standard and generic as are most hidden object games. Not that that’s necessarily a bad thing. If you’re looking for a casual game with an interesting look, artistic in some aspects, then this one will do the trick.

There is plenty of stuff to collect and if you set the difficulty level to the maximum one, the entire game becomes relatively hard to complete. It all comes down to how observant you are.
