Starlight Vega Demo
Free yourself from a demon in this story-rich visual novel featuring a cast of interesting characters. #Visual novel #Interactive story #Yuri romance #Novel #Interactive #Fantasy
Old houses usually hold a few secrets, although they are rarely something more serious than a leaky pipe or a flickering light bulb due to faulty wiring. However, they seem to be a magnet for all sorts of spirits and demons, which is why there are so many stories surrounding them. Granted, they can be pretty creepy to live in, especially if they are built in an isolated area.
Starlight Vega is a visual novel that deals with romance and the supernatural, and it even mashes the concepts together to create something quite exciting. The game falls into the “yuri” niche as well, which means that all the characters are female and they engage in romantic relationships between them. However, there’s much more than love to worry about over the course of the story.
As such, you play the role of a high school girl by the name of Aria, who moves into her grandfather’s house after he passes away. She lives with her mother, but the house in question is quite creepy from the get-go. As Aria finds out, a demon lives inside, and she becomes attached to Aria the moment she touches a magic gem. Hence, you must figure out how to get rid of the demon, or how to get closer to it.
Since this is an interactive visual novel, there are choices you can make over the course of the story, most of which affect how your potential romance partners perceive you. Hence, some answers might upset one character or the other, and it all depends on whom you wish to pursue. Obviously, you can replay the adventure and choose a different course in order to get different results.
This also translates into a few different endings, including one that allows you to have a harem instead of a single lover. Hence, there should be enough reasons to give the game multiple tries. On top of it all, the artwork is nice as well, although it can be rather faded in some cases. The soundtrack is smooth and on point, too, but you shouldn’t expect anything too great either.
When it’s all said and done, Starlight Vega should find a fair number of fans for itself, especially since there are not that many choices in the genre. Hence, even if you are in the mood for something light and cute, this may very well be the solution.
