Besides the campaign, you can also try to complete a variety of survival challenges, which require efficiency and cooperation. However, the multiplayer component is engaging as well, especially since each player gets a turn to arrange the soldiers and give them various others.

You can also apply boosts to one of the soldiers in your team, granting them additional armor, speed or damage. It’s important to recognize the best option at any given time, because the wrong one can cause you to lose the whole battle. Granted, soldiers can be revived if other members of the team get to them in time, but you obviously have to think about the enemy trying to take advantage of this as well.

Even if Special Tactics Online might look simple at first, it certainly isn’t, and you might actually be overwhelmed a bit until you get used to the mechanics. However, the game is both engaging and demanding at the same time, which is a perfect combo for those who are tired of fast-paced deathmatches.
