Showtime! is a movie industry simulator in which you get the chance to run your own studio and make your way to the top of the Box Office by releasing blockbuster titles.

Before starting to plan your first movie, you'll have to choose a cool studio name along with your initial funds, start date and global reputation. Choose wisely, as the difficulty settings for the upcoming game are dictated by these values.

As soon as all that was settled, you can start to work on your first blockbuster. After you purchase the rights for your movie title you need to take care of a few things, such as hiring a writer to create the script you want.

The script will be ready in four months, but in the meantime you can take a closer look at your current facilities. Here you will be able to build new structures that will provide various bonuses for your studio employees as well as new technology to shoot your movies.

After the script is finished, it's time to hire at least one director, one producer and the number of actors you have assigned during planning. As soon as you're done, you can move to production where you can choose your film location, special FX budget and the overall production budget.

With the movie finished you can set its release date as well as giving it an original poster to promote your masterpiece. From here, you'll just have to wait and see the income it generates along with the reaction of fans and critics.
