Rush for Glory
A challenging tower defense game that will have you micromanaging towers and spamming defensive abilities. #Tower defense #Build tower #Defend base #Tower #Defense #Build
Rush for Glory is a tower defense game that luckily strays a bit from the stuff Alawar puts out there. At its core, it still uses the same tower types, you can upgrade them and so on, but there are a few things that make it better.
The best thing about Rush for Glory, and not that it’s a big deal really is the fact that you are free to place your towers where you want; opposed to the standard ones in which you could only build them in designated places. Although you can’t place them right next to each other, which is a big bummer, it still grants you plenty of freedom in creating tower combinations.
Moreover, since the maps are always different, in look and structure, you have more room to experiment, and that leads to a bit more fun.
Another thing that’s good to see in Rush for Glory is the way towers change their appearance when you upgrade them. Instead of jsut changing color, they also get beefier, scarier to the invading armies, they morph a little. It’s a nice little touch that adds to the quality of the game.
Apart from individual tower upgrades there are post-level ones you can purchase, and those stick the entire game. They are the traditional kind, range and damage upgrades, but as you progress into the game, you’ll see that the towers gain unique passive skills. Which is another plus for the game.
Even though it’s far from being an actually competitive TD title, Rush for Glory has a good thing going on for it. It looks good, you can pan the camera, zoom in on the action. Although the audio effects are kind of bad, the visuals make up for that. It’s a well-balanced game, it’s worth a shot.
