The sequel to Risen takes place several years after the end of end of events in the first game. Titan Lords were imprisoned by gods in the depths of the earth and oceans to stop them from causing havoc. But now, as they are starting to escape all the world is in danger.
Take on the role of a hero that now is a member of the Inquisition and set in search of a legendary weapon that can put an end to this creature and stop the Titan's reign of terror.
The game plays as a third person RPG game with hack'n'slash elements. Risen 2: Dark Waters tries to maintain the most immersive features of the original Risen, with multiple approaches to every challenge allowing players to shape the game world based on their own decisions.
