Riddles of Fate: Memento Mori Collector's Edition is another title added to the hidden object genre, bringing you another couple of hours of mystery and puzzle solving. In this release, Death itself or rather himself seeks your help in order to capture some people.

As far as gameplay is concerned, whether you’re a first time player or not, you’ll get a hand of it in no time. The game has very simple rules, you are faced with multiple and unique environments in which you need to locate various objects that help you solve puzzles and advance into new areas.

If you’ve never played this type of game before, you can choose the easiest level of difficulty and have visual aid for all the objects and puzzles that need to be discovered and solved. The puzzles themselves are fairly fun to solve, as they vary as the story progresses.

Since the story behind the game sets you in a world that’s more fantasy than real, level design focuses on delivering eerie and mysterious places for you to explore and it manages to do that quite well. Each scenario is very well created, offering you a unique visual experience.

The game also features a series of cutscenes which help you to better understand the story. There are plenty of them throughout the game and like with chapter design, they are very well done. Acting isn’t as great as you would expect but a game can’t be perfect.

All-in-all, Riddles of Fate: Memento Mori Collector's Edition might not raise the bar very much but it still is a good hidden object game that can help you spend a few hours in a nice manner.
