Some of the best stories are old ones, but what if the characters in those stories would come to life only to battle each other through the pages of the same storybooks that brought them to the world.

I bet many of you have read or at least heard about Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth science fiction novel and dreamed to take part in such an amazing adventure, but why not take the role of a character in the novel and battle your friends throughout multiple arenas inspired by the same book.

Paperbound is a multiplayer battle arena game in which you'll have the chance to play as a character brought to life from the pages of various old storybooks. Like that wasn't enough, players also have the ability to manipulate gravity and quickly shift from one surface to another surprising their enemies with deadly attacks.

To easily navigate through each storybook world, characters will automatically adapt to the surface they're running on, while being able to shift gravity at 180 degrees with a push of a button.

Besides the fun and engaging gameplay approach, Paperbound comes with various game modes that will keep you and your friends pinned to the PC for quite a while. Besides the free for all Versus mode, there's also a Team Versus along with a CTF-like mode called Capture the Quill.

Both Team Versus and Capture the Quill will allow players to join a team and battle each other to achieve each round's maximum score as fast as possible.

Graphics are one of the biggest asset of Paperbound, the game featuring beautifully drawn arenas inspired from storybooks, such as The Myth of the Ninja, Cleopatra, Skull Kingdom, The Journey to the Center of the Earth, or Dante's Inferno.
