Outbound is a fast paced, action packed, Mech combat shoot em up game. In outbound you control an AMV (Armored Mobile Vehicle) and have to make your through 8 very different hostile planets destroying everything in sight.
The game is all about controlling the robot and shooting all the bad guys as fast as you can.
There are a few different weapons to choose from and various power-ups and bonuses to collect. The on-screen map helps you find your allies or target-in on your enemies.
The graphics, sounds and gameplay are brilliant. The only problem I found slightly annoying is it's difficult to move or shoot diagonally. This can make it a little hard when you are surrounded by enemies and need to shoot them quickly.
