OmniBus Demo
A ridiculous and ridiculously fun arcade style game that has you driving a few destruction loving buses. #Omni Bus #Bus arcade #Physics based arcade #Physics #Arcade #Bus
You haven’t had fun with an arcade style game until you’ve played OmniBus. It’s a wonderfully-wacky low-resolution indie that will have you smiling from ear to ear when you’re not laughing and raging at the wobbly game physics.
I’ve always enjoyed simple game concepts that are creative and well-built. Compromising video quality in favor of smooth gameplay and excellent mechanics will always be acceptable, if not preferred.
OmniBus is a blend of nice design, and whimsical and fun gameplay that are topped off with super semi-inaccurate physics that make a lot of sense. In short, you get two modes (in the demo at least), ‘Story mode’ and ‘Free play’, and each one has its flavor of fun. Story mode means completing a series of absurd challenges while Free play is all about getting the big score.
In most part, OmniBus is a tough cookie but delicious nonetheless. Some of the Story mode challenges require a few tries, but they’re those cases in which you gladly hit restart because you fail with a smile.
There’s no denying that OmniBus is fun with its destructible environment, pinball mechanics, and huge bowling pins that you can’t resist smashing into while driving a double decker bus full of tourists. To add another layer of fun, the final version of the game will feature more bus types and a multiplayer demolition derby mode.
To wrap it up, play the OmniBus demo then anxiously wait for the complete thing to come out. It’s one of those games you play for the sheer amusement and nonsense of it all.
