NORTH & SOUTH - The Game is a turn-based strategy game in which you will be able to rewrite history and influence the outcome of the American Civil War battles towards your favorite side.

Between 1861 and 1865 the North and the South of the United States fought a bloody war that claimed the lives of over 600,000 soldiers from both sides. In NORTH & SOUTH - The Game you will have the chance to play as either the Union or the Confederation and lead your troops to victory against the opposing side.

With the map of the United States in front, you will have to do your best and conquer territory after territory before the enemy manages to advance and get the upper hand.

Battles in NORTH & SOUTH are also played in turns. Troops are divided into soldiers, cavalry and cannons, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. With every turn, you'll have to send commands to each troop and decide how should they engage in battle depending on the enemy's movements.

As you advance through each territory claiming it for your side, you will eventually come across enemy occupied towns. To take control of an enemy town, you will have to play a minigame in which you'll need to protect one of your soldiers as her reaches for the opponent's flag.

In the same way, if you manage to intercept enemy steamboats carrying gold, you can try and capture them to add the gold to your stash.

NORTH & SOUTH - The Game gives you the chance to rewrite history and conquer the United States with any of the two sides involved in the great war. The game cleverly combines turn-based strategy elements with arcade shooting to deliver a great strategic experience that you'll surely enjoy.
