Romance plays a major role in the plot as well, since you can pursue a relationship with them if you wish to do so.

Your choices affect the course of the story, but don’t expect a very complex plot either, since this is not the kind of game that changes your opinion of the world. However, it’s nice to know that you have a say on the matter, and this also encourages replayability. It’s difficult to get the wrong answers, but it’s worth noting that the translation can be a bit odd sometimes.
