Motorcycle Club Demo

Motorcycle Club is an arcade bike racing game developed by Kylotonn Entertainment and published by Bigben Interactive.

There are a ton of racing games, but very few that focuses only on bikes. The ones that do feature real bikes are also about some championship or another, so there are basically the official racing games for that category. It’s not clear why there aren’t more bike racing titles, especially when this is such an exciting and dangerous vehicle.

The developers from Kylotonn Entertainment took this even a step further and managed to secure many official names from the industry, like BMW, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, and Yamaha. As you can see, these are pretty much all of the big hitters, with a couple of exceptions, so you would think that Motorcycle Club can only be an awesome game. You would be wrong, and I can tell you that Motorcycle Club is actually terrible.

Bikes are supposed to be exciting and to give their users a sense of power. In Motorcycle Club, the bikes are ridiculous, and they are nothing like their real counterparts. Sure, they are modeled correctly, but who cares about that when the control implemented for them is worse than anything that you can imagine.

The game looks pretty good, and that’s true even from for the menus. Everything is on par until you actually start to race, and it falls apart. I don’t even know where to begin. The acceleration is too sudden, and the bikes are cornering really bad. I know this is supposed to be an arcade experience, but this is not it.

Players also have to gather point by doing various tasks, one of which is run as quickly as possible through speed traps, jump to get as much distance as possible, run through some floating circles, and so on.

To top it all off, you can switch between three different bikes during the race, depending on the surface that you’re using, which is just ridiculous. The demo has a few races, so why not give it a try and see who you like it.
