MilitAnt

MilitAnt is a platformer shooter where players will have to guide a warrior ant through an enemy infested colony.

You are a soldier in the ant army and while in your post, at the watch tower, you hear an announcement urging every capable soldier to pick up weapons and fight against the enemy. As soon as you exit the tower, you notice a vast invading army. By using your shooting skills, you will have to make your way through the enemies and obstacles while trying to reunite with your comrades.

After a long and tedious run, you manage to catch up with the rest of the ant army only to find out a dreadful thing: all the other insect nations (termites, scorpions, wasps and beetles), jealous of the ants progress, have decided to annihilate their entire colony. You are the only one brave enough to take on this kind of a challenge and prove to the rest of the ants what it means to be a hero.

As a side-scrolling, the game uses a 2.5D perspective so besides taking down enemies in front and behind, players will also have to use their aiming skills and gun down enemies located in a second plan.

The arsenal is quite varied and all the weapons are powered by a strange mineral called: crystalite. This makes all the weapons have unlimited ammo, yet this perk comes with a costs: the weapons needs to cooldown after a while. Pistols, machine guns and flamethrowers are just a few of the cool weapons used in the game. There is also a melee attack if the enemy gets too close.

The enemies will come in many shapes and sizes: some will only use melee attacks and will have an incredible speed, while others will use their range weapons to cause damage. There are even epic boss fights where your dodging skills will really come in handy.

Modern graphics and old-school gameplay in one game

Freeing the colony from the invaders means lots of hours of gameplay while using awesome weapons and fighting against various enemies and bosses. Due to the great cartoonish visuals the game can be enjoyed by children and adults alike.
