Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is a gate in the Might & Magic universe developed by Capybara Games and published by Ubisoft.

When people here Might & Magic they immediately think of the famous turn based series of games. They would be right to do so, but with the exception of the name and lore, this has nothing to do with that. Some of you might remember that Ubisoft are now the owners of this franchise, and they are looking to make different kinds of games, not just turn-based one.

One the other hand, Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is so different from the regular games in this series that it could be off-putting for real fans, but that hasn’t happened. In fact, for the most part, the community like Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes and it’s strange story and gameplay.

For the first few minutes of Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes gameplay you will probably have one thought: what am I playing? To put it bluntly, this is a very complex match tree game, but that’s not correct or encompassing.

In all honesty, Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes defies classification. It’s something unique that can stand on its own, and that can make use of that famous name.

The game has a convoluted story, which is hard to follow unless you’re really into the Might & Magic universe. The basic gist is that you have to defeat an ancient evil and save the world from annihilation.

Players can roam around the world in real time (sort off) and fight monsters. Instead of using turn based combat, player has to cleverly match units and cause damage. It the kind of gameplay that seems easy to understand, but impossible to master.

It’s also quite difficult to explain who it’s played, so the easiest way to see why Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is an unexpected gem is to install the demo. It’s not very long, and you won’t get a lot of fights, but it’s enough to even for the most skeptic of you.
