Mendel's Farm

Mendel's Farm is a fun farm management game in which you have to help a wacky farmer rebuild his business while using complex scientific procedures to breed new animals and crop types.

Mendel is not such a skilled farmer, thus he got quickly out of business due to his lack of experience in the field and here is where you come in to save the day. As Mendel's assistant, you will first have to learn a thing or two about the designation of each building at the farm as well as the basics of animal breading.

Your first steps will be to populate the barn with a few chickens by purchasing them from the market. As you'll soon find out, each of the chickens come with their own unique personality and features that will influence the overall gameplay.

As you progress, you will also have to purchase various crops to plant around the farm and transform them into food for your animals.

Managing your farm is not the only thing you can do in the game and probably the most fun aspect is unlocking genetic research along with the gene modification ability.

Researching these two technologies will allow you to unlock awesome features that can be used to genetically modify your animals.

For example, if you're tired keeping an eye out for that sneaky fox that keeps stealing your chickens you can alter the genetic code of your fowls and make them breathe fire. You can go even further with this and add horns or tusks to make them look more like a vicious predator.

With three farm animals at your disposal and lots of researchable genetic mutations, the possibilities are only limited by your imagination.

Mendel's Farm is still in active development and although the game needs a lot more polishing before reaching its full potential, you can still enjoy the wacky mechanics and crazy genetic manipulations available for all the animals at your farm.
