Maestro: Dark Talent Collector's Edition is another release for the hidden object game genre which takes you on another journey into the unknown and supernatural. This time you play a detective who has to rescue a friend from a diva that possesses evil powers.

The game starts off with you arriving at an opera house where you were invited by a lady friend. As you greet her near the entrance, she is pulled inside by what look like demonic hands and the doorway is sealed behind her.

It’s now up to you to find out what’s going on and rescue her along with the others that were getting ready for the concert. As you make your way into the story, you discover that the Diva is no mere singer and that her voice has the power to steal the life essence from its listeners.

The plot thickness as you leave the normal world and head into the supernatural where more and more pieces of the puzzle await to be discovered and put together.

Maestro: Dark Talent Collector's Edition, like most hidden object episodes, obeys the same gameplay. You have an interactive painting in front and you have to look closely in order to find clues, hints and various objects that can be used throughout the game.

Some are very easy to spot while others are a bit more abstract and require an extra dose of creativity in order to be identified and put to good use. Before you start the game, you are able to choose one of three degrees of difficulty, each one offering you less and less help for the entire duration of the game.

On a closing note, Maestro: Dark Talent Collector's Edition doesn’t differ much from other hidden object games and to be honest, the voice-over acting is a bit disappointing. Nonetheless, the word is well designed and the puzzles you face are fairly challenging which will lead to a good couple of hours of entertainment.
