Kick Ass Commandos Demo

Kick Ass Commandos is‘Rambo and friends’ directed by Michael Bay. To translate, it’s an action game in which your guys shoot without ever worrying about running out of ammo, and there are tons of big explosion.

'Explosions' is the defining word for this little indie game. As a top-down shooter, it’s the style that benefits the most from them, and since it’s about a commando team, you can’t have enough of them. At some point, with the right weapon, shooting a tree will cause it to explode.

The game is action-packed, there’s no denying that but at a slight cost; it’s sometimes cluttered, and that might affect gameplay. You don’t control just one man, well, at first you do, but then you save your battle brothers, and together you march into battle. At times, you get to play as a squad of up to seven and with that many explosions covering everything, it can be tough to avoid enemy fire.

In Kick Ass Commandos, there’s no penalty (apparently) for having one of your comrades fall into battle. As long as you don’t die, it’s all good; your entire team is expendable and moreover, it’s your choice to set them free. You can very well finish a mission on your own, it’s just gets harder.

Kick Ass Commandos throws some weapon upgrades your way, obviously, and some casual power-ups that keep you alive a bit longer. In essence, Kick Ass Commandos is a standard top-down shooter but it has a good vibe, fast-paced action and an addictive gameplay.

To wrap it up, Kick Ass Commandos is a great little shooter to have around when you want to blow stuff up and people to pieces. It’s delightfully fast-paced, and you hardly grow tired of repeating the missions you fail at.
