Jet Gunner is a retro style platform shooter that reminds me of the early NES era with titles, such as Contra, Battletoads, Bionic Commando, etc.

As the story goes, in the 1900s, the world's major city is suddenly attacked by the robots within. It seems that the master brain which controls all the robots has gone mad and turned against the humans.

With the entire world on the brink of extinction, you are the only human left in one of the many elite squads and the only one who can save humanity from a terrible future.

Armed with one of the latest weapons created, you'll now have to shoot your way through the robot rebels and destroy their central command before it's too late.

As soon as you set foot in the first war zone you will be encountered by lots of robotic enemies who will try to take you down and stop your foolish attempt to deactivate them.

With buildings collapsing under your feet, enemy drones heading towards you and massive helicopters trying to squeeze the life out of our hero you will have to move fast and act even faster if you want to survive in this fast-paced world.

Luckily, you will be able to make use of a massive weapon arsenal that includes flamethrowers, beam blasters, side shooting lasers and many other cool stuff. Moreover, you can also be accompanied by various drones which can be equipped with their own devastating weapons which will surely come in handy during those tough boss fights.

With its 8-bit graphics, fast-paced combat, and cliché filled story the game manages to bring back lots of memories from the NES era which will surely be appreciated by gaming veterans.
