Hidden Expedition: Dawn of Prosperity Collector's Edition is a hidden object title that continues the series with another interesting case. Strange earthquakes have started to appear in an area that shouldn’t have seismic activity, and it’s up to you to find out what’s happening.

You and your partner are sent to investigate the presence of small quakes in the vicinity of an abandoned observatory. Things get stranger after you find out that there is, in fact, a lot of activity going on and all of it seems shady.

After your partner takes a tranquilizer dart to the neck, it becomes your solo mission to get to the bottom of things. Explore the observatory’s surroundings, piece together all the clues and see that maybe you prevent some sort of global catastrophe or alien invasion.

In terms of design, Hidden Expedition: Dawn of Prosperity doesn’t shine all that much. Some of the object blending in the game is kind of poorly executed, making many of the clues very obvious. Which, in turn, cuts down the difficulty level and the enjoyment of the game.

As far as the puzzles go, they’re quite good, challenging too. You’ll have to feed peanuts to a raccoon, decrypt signals, disable security cameras with a laser, and more. As far as hidden object games go, Hidden Expedition: Dawn of Prosperity is ok.

Hidden Expedition: Dawn of Prosperity Collector's Edition is well worth it for those who have a thing for this genre and style of gameplay. More so since the collector’s edition makes you look extra carefully for all the hidden stuff and rewards.
