Grab the Bottle is an amusing puzzle game that challenges you to avoid all sorts of obstacles while trying to remain as comfortable as possible. Hence, the goal of the game is to control an infinite arm that must reach various objects around the house and grab them. Naturally, it’s not as simple as it sounds, because the said objects are always in difficult-to-reach places.

The demo features a handful of levels, but they pack many different challenges and a diverse palette of gameplay mechanics to spice things up. In essence, your biggest problem is that the arm is constantly extending, which forces you to think fast and plan ahead. Walls and most other objects must be avoided, because a slight touch is enough to reset the whole stage.

As the name implies, it’s important to grab the necessary items when you do reach them, as well as be careful not to drop them along the way. However, sometimes it’s mandatory to drop things, because this allows you to destroy certain obstacles and clear the way forward. It’s also possible to push things around, but you need to pay attention to the items you decide to interact with.

In some scenarios you have to collect multiple objects and make your way to through the level as many times as you must, which is significantly harder. However, it must be said that the demo stages are a bit too simple, and we can only hope that the developers are going to kick it up a notch until the full version is released. Other than that, it’s also worth mentioning that you can use a controller instead of the keyboard, and local multiplayer is in the plans as well.

In the end, Grab the Bottle is a clever puzzle game with copious amounts of potential in store, but it needs more of a sting when it comes to the difficulty level. Hence, you might get bored if everything is too easy and you are not challenged in any way.
