Gnumz: Masters of Defense

There are tower defense games and there are trap defense games, which is kind of the same thing except you won’t be hurdling huge projectiles at your enemies but rather wait patiently for them to get close and surprise them with all kinds of deadly contraptions.

So is the case with Gnumz: Masters of Defense, a game in which you will have to figure out what traps to use and when to place them.

Unlike in most TD games, in this one you don’t get the to choose where you place the traps but rather opt which one to place on predefined locations. This takes out part of the decision making in a level but adds an extra dose of difficulty.

To add a trap, you have to click a deployment location and choose the one you want. You can play the game at a normal pace or accelerate the minion movement to go through levels much faster. The latter is encouraged for those who have played this type of game before because sometimes, when you need a new trap built you might not move fast enough and end up losing precious minerals.

In Gnumz: Masters of Defense, you can choose from four core traps which you can upgrade for faster attack speeds and damage, but as you progress into the game, they can be transformed into more powerful defense machines.

Inevitably, there will be times when the number or enemies will be too large for your traps to handle but don't worry, you get to use various spells that can make the mine cave in on the minios or make them weak enough so your defenses can eliminate them with ease.

Gnumz: Masters of Defense offers you less chances to test your creativity when it comes to organizing your defenses but to compensate, it pushes your reflexes and reaction times a bit more.
