Gizmos: Riddle Of The Universe is a nice little casual game which is perfect for those who enjoy a good puzzle game that has a pinch of math in it. This one offers a very large number of levels in which you will have to solve increasingly difficult nonogram puzzles.

The game in question doesn’t bring anything new to the idea of a nonogram puzzle. They are still logic puzzles where you have to color a series of squares to reveal a hidden image that is in binary form.

It’s not the simplest of puzzles but the game does provide a consistent tutorial that explains its rules and you start off with a few small ten by ten boards on which to play. By the time you get a handle on them, you’ll be ready to move up to bigger and much more complex levels, and they do get complicated.

To mark the tiles as part of a group or as an empty space, you simply use either the left or right click buttons and if you mess one up, you get a visual hint of that.

Gizmos: Riddle Of The Universe is not a puzzle game in which you can guess where the pieces are. It does rely on logic and if you manage to mark the tiles in a wrong way more than six times, you will have to restart the level.

Throughout the game you will keep receiving various hints in text form or by revealing the location of a few random tiles when one of your power-us is fully charged.

To sum things up, Gizmos: Riddle Of The Universe is a very good puzzle game to keep close for times when you have a couple of minutes to spare. There’s always a slight dose of satisfaction after completing a level flawlessly.
