Fray: Reloaded Edition

Fray: Reloaded Edition is a turn-based strategy game where you will have to join a team and try to fight for survival and domination.

Being a multiplayer only game, Fray has no actual story. All we know is that the actions takes places in the year 2098, when three large corporations fight for control of the Earth. In order to spare whatever resources are left, the three mega-corporations decides to take the fight in the virtual world.

Players will have to enter this holographic virtual world and control sci-fi looking robots that battle each other to the death. Each player will be able to choose a squad of robots formed by four fighters. There are six different classes available (Assault, Tank, Medic, Sniper, Support and Shadow), so your choice will be tough.

Once you have chosen a corporation, each one will provide you with a special perk, and four different soldiers you will have to begin given orders. Each soldier is capable of performing several actions: move, shoot, reload or adopt offensive or defensive postures. These order must be given in a certain amount of time (two minutes).

The action points will provide your soldiers with a limited number of moves or attacks. After all the orders are given, you will be a spectator that watches how its soldiers are victorious or are slaughtered on the battlefield.

The game, even after its latest patch still features a clumsy camera, a huge loading time and an overall buggy execution. Add this to the fact that only 64-bit users can enter the game and you're left with only a few reasons to choose Fray. Among these the most important are the fun you'll have and the experience of playing a unique hybrid.
